The Search for Wegener and Villumsen

Abstract Winter storms eventually became less intense and less frequent. It was time to take provisions to the men at Eismitte and find answers to the big questions.Where were Wegener, Loewe, andVillumsen? How had they and the scientists at Eismitte fared through the winter?

Men at the West Station were prepared for any possibility. MaybeWegener, Loewe, and Rasmus died trying to reach Eismitte. Maybe Georgi and Sorge died attempting to return to West Station.

Maybe they were all safe at Eismitte. In case anyone was still at Eismitte, they would certainly need provisions for the coming summer work.
